Arranging the DateTo organise a funeral you should, in the first instance, contact the Rector. In most cases, your Funeral Director will undertake this on your behalf. To help with choosing a date, existing bookings are listed on the Services Page. Funerals are not conducted on Saturdays or Sundays. Note that you will need both Church and Rector; thus, if there is any booking on a chosen day, it may not be possible to conduct a funeral, even if your chosen Church appears free.BurialsFor burials, only the following churches have a graveyard: There are important regulations concerning memorials in churchyards which can be found here. How much does a Funeral cost?Statutory fees for a Church of England funeral can be found here, and local fees can be found on the Fees page.. Who may take part in the service? It is important to us that all services are personal and appropriate. We have welcomed visiting clergy and laity of different traditions to take part in services as appropriate. Please contact the Rector to discuss your thoughts.
